MLGW Family Mourns Loss of Jason Webb

The MLGW family mourns the loss of employee Jason Webb, age 35, Gas Distribution-South Service Center, who was injured in a gas incident on November 25. Jason, who was still receiving treatment at Regional One Medical Center, passed away on Sunday. Jason had been employed with MLGW since 2001. Please keep Jason's family, friends and co-workers in your thoughts and prayers.

"We're all brokenhearted. Jason was the kindest, friendliest employee I believe I've ever worked with. He came in happy every day, and was like a big kid. We loved him. I've never seen him not smiling. He is going to be missed by us all," said Joseph Leppert, General Foreman, Gas Dist-SSC.

Jerry Collins Jr, President and CEO said, "I am deeply saddened by the loss of one of our own. Bravely, our employees risk their lives in service to our community everyday. Tragically, Jason was critically injured in the line of duty during the November accident. As a Division, we mourn with his family and offer them our prayers. Jason's service will never be forgotten."

Thank you.
